On May 14th, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Artur Rasizade met a delegation led by President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang.

The Premier hailed relations between Azerbaijan and Vietnam. PM Rasizade highlighted big energy projects implemented by Azerbaijan. He noted that Azerbaijan also attaches great importance to the development of non-oil sector.

Rasizade briefed the delegation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

President of Vietnam Truong Tan Sang praised Azerbaijan`s economic achievements in recent years. The Vietnamese President noted that there was big potential for the development of cooperation between the two countries in a variety of fields.

The sides also discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.
