President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a letter of congratulation to Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow as his country is celebrating Independence Day.
"On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on behalf of myself, I extend my sincere congratulations to you and your people on the occasion of Independence Day," the Azerbaijani leader said in his message.
President Ilham Aliyev expressed confidence "traditionally friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between our countries will further develop to serve the interests of our people".
The Azerbaijani President wished his Turkmen counterpart strong health and successes in his activities, and the people of his country peace and prosperity.
