Accept my sincere congratulation on the 20th anniversary of independence of Azerbaijan.
Today the Republic is dynamically developing, gain visible achievements in the social and economic fields, strengthen its foreign policy position in the region and the world.
On this remarkable day we pay respect to national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev who did much work to form the basis of modern democratic republic, strengthen foundation of traditional friendly relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, good neighborhood and mutually beneficial cooperation.
I would like to note with satisfaction the mutual intention to further strategic partnership relationship, which has become a factor of stability and security in the Caucasus and the Caspian region over these years.
I`m sure productive political dialogue, implementation of agreements in the trade, economics, investment, humanitarian and other fields will continue to promote dynamic development of multifaceted bilateral cooperation for the interests of our countries and peoples.
