"Armenia has no desire to abandon the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, and unfortunately, the international society does not give a proper attention to this problem," said expert of the European policy center in Brussels Mrs. Amanda Pol.
The expert said election of Azerbaijan as a non-permanent member to the UN Security Council is of very important significance. Azerbaijan may use this platform to influence upon international community with respect to Nagorno Karabakh problem.
"It is obvious that Armenia wants to keep status quo that is unacceptable for Azerbaijan and international community. We hope it will give a proper attention to this conflict and express its firm stand," added Mrs. Pol.
