On September 25th Baku opened the 20th Azerbaijan International Healthcare Exhibition – BIHE, the region’s largest event specialized in the medical field, organized by Iteca Caspian and its partner ITE Group PLC, the 9th Stomatology Azerbaijan International Dental Exhibition, and the 8th Azerbaijan International Beauty and Aesthetic Medicine Exhibition (Beauty Azerbaijan 2014).
In his speech at the opening of the exhibition, Deputy Health Minister Elsever Aghayev said up to 600 new healthcare facilities and hospitals have been opened in Azerbaijan over the last 7 years: “Healthcare exhibitions play great role in supplying these hospitals with modern equipment and medicines. Hosting the healthcare exhibition has already become a tradition in Azerbaijan, and the number of participants is growing year by year”.
Noting that Azerbaijan’s healthcare has integrated to the world’s healthcare, the deputy minister said the exhibition is attended by 147 companies from 17 countries this year: “Along with the usual healthcare exhibition, we have also held the stomatology exhibition for 9 years and the aesthetic medicine exhibition for 8 years”.
Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Niyazi Safarov and others also gave speech at the opening of the exhibition, noting that such exhibitions represent the achievements attained in the economic sphere.
Note that, the exhibition will continue till September 27.
