On September 29th a joint meeting of Azerbaijan Central Clinical Hospital and US`s Mayo Clinics took place here. The event organized by Azerbaijan Society for Cardiovascular Surgery (ASCS) brought together professors from Mayo Clinics and cardiovascular specialists from private clinics of Azerbaijan. Chairman of ASCS, head physician of Central Clinical Hospital Kamran Musayev said a series of event have been held in Baku on the occasion of World Heart Day. 
Musayev said the latest achievements in cardiology will be discussed at the meeting. Deputy Minister of Health Elsevar Agayev told of achievements gained in social sphere and healthcare of Azerbaijan. He noted that more than 450 medical institutions have been repaired and new facilities built. Agayev said Child`s Surgical Center was established owing to the Reserve Fund of President of Azerbaijan.
Director of American Clinics Richard Dali said currently Azerbaijan is one of the rapidly developing countries around the world. On significance of the forum, Dali said cardiologists of Azerbaijan and USA to exchange views on important issues.
The scientific reports have been also delivered at the forum.
