On April 10th Cooperation on Emerging Security Challenges Information Day event  was held at ADA University. The Information Day was held in the framework of the Science and Security Programme.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Araz Azimov and Assistant Secretary General of NATO Emerging Security Challenges Division, Ambassador Sorin Ducaru.
The Information Day consists of four Plenary Sessions.
The SPS Programme is aimed to enhance Euro-Atlantic and international security, peace and stability by applying the best scientific and technical expertise to deliver solutions for issues of mutual concern to NATO Allies and Partners, promotes regional security and cooperation, builds, confidence and raises awareness of NATO’s role and activities through enhanced public diplomacy, contributes to prepare interested eligible nations for NATO membership, offer grants for projects, workshops and training involving scientists and experts from NATO member states and partner countries.
