The American school pupils, who won the competition supported by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and US Embassy in Azerbaijan, will stay in Baku till June 28.

A competition of works about Azerbaijan carried out by American Council on examination of human issues among three thousands school pupils was announced on December 2011 and ended on March 1 2012. The American school pupils are accompanied by the head of program of the Council Elsi Georgezhantas and honorary consul of Azerbaijan in Santa Fe Emmitt Richard Art McHafi.

The guests familiarized themselves with the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and its activity, Mugham center, Ichari Sharar and the National Park.

The delegation will also meet some representatives of the government, visit Caspian Energy center, Azerbaijan Diplomatic Academy, the US embassy and American center, Azerbaijan`s State Museum of History, State Museum of Arts, Museum of Modern Art and State Historical-and-Ethnographic Reservation "Gala" and Gabala region.

American Council on examination of human issues has about 100 representation offices in 40 states of USA. About 500 000 persons participate in its projects.
