The head of socio-political department of President Administration of the Azerbaijan Republic, Professor Ali Hasanov is on a visit in Berlin to familiarize with the work of the chair of history of Azerbaijan operating at Humboldt University in Berlin, being one of leading universities of Germany, and also to address the students of university and tell about Azerbaijan.
At the meeting held on June 9 at Humboldt University with representatives of the public of Germany and the Azerbaijani Diaspora, Ali Hasanov delivered a lecture on the theme "Modern development of Azerbaijan: current position and prospects", and answered numerous questions of participants.
On June 10 Professor Ali Hasanov made another report at the Humboldt University addressing the students, who study history of Azerbaijan, then answered numerous questions. The same day, Ali Haasnov visited the chair of history of Azerbaijan, archive and university library, familiarized with their activity.
In the frame of the visit Ali Hasanov met in Berlin a member of the Bundestag of Germany Phillip Missfelder, discussed current state of relations between Germany and Azerbaijan and ways of the further development. The head of department also visited the Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis of Germany in Berlin, and familiarized with Center`s activity, made recommendations.
The Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Germany Parviz Shahbazov was present at the meetings.
Professor Ali Hasanov visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Germany, held a meeting with embassy personnel, and made recommendations concerning diplomatic activities for realization of foreign policy of the Azerbaijani state and forthcoming work in this direction.
