"This year 137 modular schools will be built. More than 100 schools will be supplied with gas, hundreds of schools will be renovated in the rural areas, and 12 schools in Baku will be overhauled," said President Ilham Aliyev as he addressed a conference dedicated to the results of fourth year implementation of "The State Program on socio-economic development of the regions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2014-2018".

"We will succeed in addressing the school construction and repair problems in the city of Baku. Of course, new schools will be built and repaired in all districts and regions in the years to come. However, we aim to implement the whole program to repair the damaged schools this year," the head of state said.
