An Azerbaijan-Cambodia business forum has been held in Baku.
Organized by Azerbaijan`s Economy and Industry Ministry in partnership with AZPROMO, the forum brought together officials and more than 50 businessmen from the fields of industry, agriculture, consulting, construction and logistics.
Opening the event, Azerbaijani deputy economy and industry minister Sahil Babayev said the country attached great importance to expanding its international cooperation.
He said joint business forums and reciprocal visits played a tremendous role in developing economic relations.
Babayev expressed confidence the business forum would contribute to deepening Azerbaijan-Cambodia economic relations.
Cambodia`s Minister of Commerce Sun Chanthol stressed the importance of effectively using current potential and boosting relations among the businessmen, adding this will contribute to developing trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
The event saw presentations by Head of AZPROMO Rufat Mammadov on business opportunities and investment environment in Azerbaijan, and Secretary General of Council for the Development of Cambodia Sok Chenda Sophea on investment environment in the country.
The business forum also featured bilateral meetings.
