On March 6th Azerbaijani and Greek businessmen came together in Baku for the opening of a joint business forum.
Opening the event, Greek Ambassador Ioannis Metaxas stressed the importance of the forum. He praised the Azerbaijan-Greece relations.
Azerbaijani industry and energy minister Natig Aliyev said the business forum had a positive impact on the overall relationship of the two countries.
“Economic relations between Azerbaijan and Greece are developing at a rapid pace. The forum will contribute to developing these relations even further. Energy occupies an important place in our relations, and we are now implementing new energy projects. The business forum will at the same time give a boost to our trade relations,” said the Azerbaijani Minister.
Greek Deputy FM Dimitris Kurkulas expressed confidence the forum would contribute to expanding the Azerbaijan-Greece relations.
