Azerbaijan and BP have explored ways of developing cooperation as the country`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has met BP regional president for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gordon Birrell and the Company`s Vice President, Huseyn Mammadov.
They spoke of the cooperation between Azerbaijan and BP, particularly the implementation of joint projects.
They also exchanged views on work to be carried out by BP`s International Operating Company in the Azerbaijani section of the Caspian Sea, as well as in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli oilfield.
Gordon Birrell praised the cooperation between Azerbaijan and BP, calling the country one of the company`s closest partners.
