Istanbul hosted the 27th Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the BSEC. Azerbaijan`s delegation at the event was headed by Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
The meeting saw Ukraine take over the chairmanship of the council from Turkey for a six month term.
The participants discussed international and regional problems, cooperation among BSEC member states, a new economic plan till 2020, bilateral cooperation between the European Union and BSEC, as well as applications for extension of an observer status term.
