President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon visited the Azguntex solar panel factory built by the State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources, SAARES, in Sumgait city.
Director of SAARES Akim Badalov informed that two production lines - the solar module and LED lamps production lines would function in the factory, the construction of which has started in January last year.
President Emomali Rahmon viewed samples of solar panels produced in Azguntex factory.
The President was also informed about the "Thousand houses - thousand power stations" project to transform the solar energy to electric energy and provide each house separately with ecologically pure solar energy.
Then, the Tajik President viewed solar panels production line. The Tajik leader watched the production process.
He was informed about the High Technologies Park to be created by the State Agency on Alternative and Renewable Energy Sources in Sumgait.
Emomali Rahmon was also informed on a waste processing plant to be constructed in Sumgait.
