Chief of the State Maritime Administration Gudret Gurbanov has participated at the Organization's London Headquarters for its 90th session from 16 to 25 May 2012. 
Report of MSC 90 Secretary-General Koji Sekimizu was listened at the meeting.
Different international organizations and 168 member-states participated in the session and measures for increase of safety in the maritime, determination of new standards for construction of new ships, issues on Remote Recognition and Control System, application of international convention on Training of sailors, giving them a diploma and etc. were discussed at the session.
Besides, there was spoken about measures for prevention of maritime piracy.
ASMA's report on appropriation of Azerbaijan's diplomas given to sailors to International Convention and same reports of Great Britain, USA, Canada and Israel were submitted to discussion of the session. Member-states appreciated the report.
