The Baku Steel Company LLC and German Siemens VAI Company have signed a 15 million euro contract.
According to the press service of the BSC, Siemens VAI will replace the BSS melting furnace for a more modern 50-ton one. As a result of reconstruction, at primary stage it is expected to increase capacity in the first section of the enterprise from current 350,000 tons up to 500,000 tons.
The new project will create conditions to increase plant`s capacity up to 1.1 million tons a year.
