Chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan Aydin Aliyev has met a Gabonese delegation led by Deputy Minister of Economy, Investment Promotion and Planning Marie Julie Bilogo Bi-Nzendong to discuss cooperation in the customs field.
Highlighting the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Mr. Aliyev said 20 percent of Azerbaijan`s lands were occupied by Armenia. He noted that Azerbaijan enjoyed systematic customs opportunities.
Mr. Aliyev said large-scale projects carried out with the support of the Head of State for improving the material and technical base.
Marie Julie Bilogo Bi-Nzendong, in turn, highlighted her country`s economy as well as its political situation. The Deputy Minister said Gabon was interested in cooperation with Azerbaijan in the customs field.
