A subsequent raid was held by employees of the Department of Environmental Protection of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources to check compliance with the requirements of environmental legislation.

During the raid, it was found out that eight populus were cut off in the village of Aydınqishlag in the Gabala district, 40-92 cm in diameter and 9400 manats in nature. During the investigation, trees were found to be cut by Gabala resident Valeh Tahirov. 
An act has been filed with the law breaker.

The amount of damages caused by the criminal act has been sent to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan for legal assessment of the issue and taking appropriate legal action against the accused.
