The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has arranged the Evening of Azerbaijan in Stuttgart, Germany.
Supported by Azerbaijan`s Honorary Consulate in Stuttgart, the event featured performance of works by Azerbaijani composers Gara Garayev, Fikret Amirov and Jovdat Hajiyev. People’s Artist Farhad Badalbeyli, and Murad Huseynov as well as Cologne-based “Minguet Quartett” also performed at the Evening.
Addressing the event, Honorary Consul of Azerbaijan in Stuttgart Otto Hauzer praised Azerbaijan`s music and national traditions.
He said that historically Azerbaijan has been known as a country of tolerance.
Hauzer thanked the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for the organization of the event, and said via such projects the Foundation contributes to extending the relations between countries, in addition to promoting Azerbaijan in the world: “Azerbaijan is famous for its tolerance. The Heydar Aliyev Foundation plays a crucial role in preserving the atmosphere of tolerance in the country,” he added. Hauzer said the event would demonstrate not only Azerbaijan`s music, but also its cuisine to the participants.
The Evening featured “Germans in Azerbaijan” photo exhibition.
