On June 7th Azerbaijan`s First Lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva met Farid Mammadov who represented the country in the Eurovision-2013 song contest in Malmo, Sweden.
The First Lady congratulated Farid Mamadov on his “successful performance and presentation of Azerbaijan`s culture in the final show of the contest”.
Mehriban Aliyeva noted that Azerbaijan had been successfully represented at the Eurovision Song Contest for the sixth time.
The President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation underlined the Azerbaijani government`s full support of the country`s stunning performance in the contest, adding Azerbaijan achieved remarkable successes in a very short period of time.
The First Lady hailed Azerbaijan`s achievements in the Eurovision song contest as a result of team work.
Farid Mammadov expressed his gratitude to President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva for the care and attention shown to him.
