The fourth Gabala Music Festival will start on July 24 in Gabala region of Azerbaijan.
Numerous cultural projects held in Azerbaijan in the last few years on the initiative and under the patronage of Mehriban Aliyeva, President of the Heydar Aliyev Fundation, UNESCO and ISESCO good-will ambassador, member of the Azerbaijani Parliament have made a tremendous contribution to developing and promoting Azerbaijan`s cultural legacy and national art.
The musicians from many countries will participate in the festival, which is organized annually by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and Ministry of Culture and Tourism. A concert of world famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will be also organized in the festival.
A concert of the Symphonic Orchestra named after Uzeyir Hajibayli will be held within the festival. Rauf Abdullayev and Azad Aliyev will conduct the concerts. The jubilee of Fikrat Amirov will be celebrated on July 26 and vocal concert on July 27. At the same timeç a concert of the Orchestra of Baku Music Academy will be held in the festival and Yegana Akhundova, Murad Huseynov and Murad Adigozalov will perform in the program.
100 years jubilee of maestro Niyazi will be marked on July 29, concerts of Farhad Badalbayli, Murad Adigozalov and Dmitry Yablonsky will be held on July 30, concert of Yuri Bashmet on August 1 and concert of Boris Berezovsky on August 2. World famous Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will give a concert on July 31 and August 3. Charles Dutoit, Lisa de la Salle and Michał Nesterowicz will perform at the concerts. The festival will end with the performances of Murad Adigozalzadeh, Farhad Badalbayli and Teymur Suleymanbayli on August 5.
