On May 19th the Eurovision 2012 song contest officially opened with a grand concert at the EuroClub.
The contest participants walked the red carpet to enter the hall.
Speaking to the opening ceremony, Eurovision-2012 Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand wished the contestants successes.
The concert started with the performance of Azerbaijan`s Eurovision winning duo El&Niki and the winner of the Eurovision-2009 contest Alexander Rybak from Norway.
The concert featured performances by Eurovision contestants and famous Djs.
The official opening ceremony was attended by delegates of the Eurovision participant countries, fans and journalists.
EuroClub is a special venue created for the participants at the Baku Sport Palace.
