As part of his visit to Baku, Director General of Qatar News Agency (QNA) Ahmad Saad Al Buanain, Chief of the News Department of QNA Abdullah Abdurrahman and Director General of AzerTAc Aslan Aslanov on Tuesday visited the Nizami Ganjavi Museum of Literature.
The guests were given detailed information about the history of the museum. The museum was founded in the middle of the 19th century. From 1918 to 1920 the building housed office and residence of the Cabinet of Ministers of then Azerbaijan Democratic Republic. The historical building of the Museum was recently reconstructed on the initiative of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
Guests toured "Dede Gorgud", "Nizami Ganjavi", "Mehseti Ganjavi", "Khagani Shirvani", "Imadeddin Nasimi", "Fizuli", "Shah Ismail Khatai" and "The Republic" halls of the Museum and viewed photo stand dedicated to the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
A book titled "The temple of the Word" by Rafael Huseynov, corresponding member of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, was presented to the Head of Qatar News Agency.
