First lady of Austria Margit Fischer visited the International Mugham Center on October 12th. 
The first lady was informed that the construction of the Center was initiated by the First Lady of Azerbaijan, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, MP Mehriban Aliyeva following the April 6, 2005 Order of the President of Azerbaijan on the construction of an International Mugham Center in Baku.
She was told President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva inaugurated the International Mugham Center on December 27, 2008.
The Center is one of the most important projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
The International Mugham Center has a 350-seat concert hall, club, restaurant, classrooms and recording studio.
Mrs. Fischer viewed busts of renowned Azerbaijani performers.
The first lady listened to the young mugham performers.
She also met with performers and wished them successes.
Then, they posed for photographs.
First lady Margit Fischer was presented with a keepsake.
