President of the Czech Republic Václav Klaus and his spouse Mrs. Livia Klausová toured Icheri Shekher, the old city in the historical core of Baku. The guests were briefed on the history of Icheri Sheher Historical and Architectural Reserve and visited monuments there.
The tour began from a Chinese Mosque, which was recently reconstructed. The Czech guests also familiarized themselves with a Maiden Tower, Juma Mosque, Kichik Caravanserai and other distinguished places located in Icheri Shekher.
