Azerbaijan`s first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP Mehriban Aliyeva met French film star Catherine Deneuve.
Mrs. Aliyeva said she was pleased to see the French actress in Azerbaijan.
"You are visiting our country for the first time. And you have already visited a number of must-see places and historical monuments in Baku," said the First Lady.
She expressed confidence the French actress` visit would be a success.
Mrs. Aliyeva said Azerbaijan had a rich culture. She told the French actress of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation`s cultural projects.
They discussed prospects for developing the cultural relations between Azerbaijan and France.{nl}

Following the meeting the First Lady spoke with Editor-in-Chief of L`Officiel Russia, Evelina Khromchencko.
