1. The Republic of Azerbaijan applied for/received a loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development towards the cost of Real Estate Registration Project (RERP) and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for PURCHASE of modern survey equipmentS for State Committee on Property Issues RERP/PP#-17cA8/G/ICB/PMSE/06/2014.

2. The State Committee on Property Issues now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for submission of bids for purchase of modern survey equipmentS for State Committee on Property Issues.

3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Project Management Unit (PMU) of the RERP, Ms. Gunel Safaraliyeva, (e-mail: [email protected]) Procurement specialist and Mrs. Nigar Huseynova, Procurement Assistant (e-mail:  [email protected]) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 10:00 A.M. to 17:00 A.M.:

5.A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of  150 AZN or 200 US Dollars for each set. The method of payment will be the bank transfer.

6. All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” for amount of 10,000 (ten thousand) US Dollars or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency.

7. Bids shall be delivered to the address below on or before 14:45   local time on August 21, 2014.  Electronic bidding shall not be permitted.
