PROCUREMENT OF UPS AND BATTERİES

İFB No: RERP/NCB/G/SLCC/UPS-B/PP#24cC1

1.This İnvitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development Business, on March 5, 2007.

2. The Republic of Azerbaijan has received a loan from the İnternational Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of Real Estate Registration Project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this loan to payments under the agreement resulting from this İFB No: RERP/NCB/G/SLCC/UPS-B/PP#24cC1

3. The PMU of the Real Estate Registration Project (RERP) now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for the supply of UPS and batteries.

4. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under İBRD Loans and İDA Credits, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.

5. İnterested eligible bidders may obtain further information from PMU of the RERP, Nigar Huseynova, Procurement Assistant (e-mail: [email protected] ailto:[email protected]; [email protected] ailto:[email protected] ) and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 10:00 A.M. to 17:00 A.M.

6. Qualifications requirements include:

The Bidder should have at least 2 successfully completed contracts for similar goods over the last five years. 

The Bidder should be in continuous business of manufacturing or supplying similar products during the last five years prior to bid opening.

7. A hard copy of complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written Application to the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of USD 100 or 80 AZN. The method of payment will be the bank transfer. The bank details are as follows:

The Bidding Documents will be sent electronically or by courier. The PMU will not be responsible for the postal delays, if any, in the delivery of the documents or non-receipt of the same.

8. Bids must be delivered to the address below before 10:45 a.m. local time on April 23, 2013 Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.  All bids must be accompanied by a “Bid Security” for amount of 5000 AZN (five thousand Azerbaijani Manat) or equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below on  April 23, 2013  at 11:00 a.m. local time.
