Azerbaijani ambassador to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Akram Zeynalli has presented his credentials to President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea Kim Yong-nam.

During a meeting after the ceremony, Akram Zeynalli and Kim Yong-nam exchanged views on bilateral relations between the two countries, Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, cooperation as part of the Non-Aligned Movement to be chaired by Azerbaijan in 2019-2022, as well as efforts to ensure peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.

Ambassador Zeynalli also met with North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho, and they discussed prospects for developing relations between the two countries.
