Azerbaijan and BP have explored ways of developing cooperation as country`s Minister of Emergency Situations, colonel-general Kamaladdin Heydarov has met BP`s Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey Gordon Birrel.
Mr. Heydarov briefed Gordon Birrel on progress achieved in the country in managing the emergency situations sphere, as well as the structure of the Ministry.
The Minister also touched upon works done in the direction of expansion of cooperation between the country and BP in aware of emergency situations, as well as preventing consequences over the last years.
They stressed the importance of implementation of joint courses and reached an agreement on holding joint events accordance with bilateral action plan signed between the Ministry and BP Azerbaijan.
