Azerbaijan and Latvia have explored ways of developing cooperation as the country`s Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Fuzuli Alakbarov has today met Latvian Welfare Minister Ilze Vinkele.
They discussed prospects for the cooperation and the issues of both countries` ministries interests.
Mr. Alakbarov briefed Ilze Vinkele on the socio-economic reforms carried out in the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as improvement of the social protection system.
He said bilateral relations were developing successfully between the two countries.
The Azeri Minister noted there were ample opportunities for expansion of relations between the two ministries.
Ilze Vinkele touched upon the activity of the Latvian Ministry, as well as social programs implemented by the Ministry.
She also stressed the importance of cooperation in the labour and social protection sphere between the two countries.
