"Relations between AzerTAc and KUNA are based on reliable partnership"

Relations between Azerbaijan State Telegraph Agency (AzerTAc) and Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) are based on the principle of reliable partnership, said Director General of AzerTAc Aslan Aslanov at a meeting with a delegation of KUNA led by Director General and Board Chairman Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah.
Aslan Aslanov briefed Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Qabas newspaper Valid An-Nasaf, who were here to attend the Second Baku International Humanitarian Forum, on the development strategy of Azerbaijan initiated by national leader Heydar Aliyev. He said this strategy was successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev.
Aslanov also spoke of the history and international relations of AzerTAc. The Director General noted AzerTAc had successful cooperation with KUNA within the Organization of Asia-Pacific News Agencies (OANA) and International Islamic News Agency (IINA). He also underlined the necessity of exchanging news and experience between AzerTAc and KUNA.
Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah said exchange of news and experience should be expanded between the two agencies in accordance with a cooperation agreement signed in 2009. He also underlined the importance of the "roundtable meeting" on Modern mass media and new challenges organized by AzerTAc as part of the Second Baku International Humanitarian Forumş
Kuwaiti ambassador Hassan Abdulbari Al-Zavavi was present at the meeting.
