A photo exhibition entitled "The 20th jubilee of Azerbaijan`s independence" dedicated to the anniversary of the establishing diplomatic relationship between Azerbaijan and Turkey opened in the Ministry of Foreign Affair`s art gallery Suna Ilicak.
The photo exhibition co-organized by Azerbaijan and Turkish embassies and Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs brought together Turkish officials, employees of the Embassy, heads of diplomatic corps, parliamentarians, figures of science, art, public, members of Diaspora and journalists.
Department chief of theTurkish Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Hayri Hayret Yalav praised Azerbaijan`s progress achieved in all spheres, its authority in the region and international arena and election as a non-permanent member to the UN Security Council in the opening ceremony of the exhibition reflecting rapid development of Azerbaijan`s capital Baku.
Azerbaijani ambassador Faig Bagirov, in his turn, underlined the close relations between the two fraternal countries. He also highlighted joint action of Azerbaijan and Turkey in international and regional projects.
