The 164th edition of the "Road to Azerbaijan" program by Anatoly Brodsky dedicated to the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev was broadcasted on Russia 24 and Sverdlovsk State TV channels at the initiative of Azerbaijan`s consulate in Yekaterinburg. 
Chairperson of House of Representatives of Sverdlovsk province`s Legislative Assembly Lyudmila Babushkina pointed out that Azerbaijan achieved great progress in all spheres under the President Ilham Aliyev`s leadership. "Azerbaijan has become modern and strong European country and develops dynamically," she said. Babushkina added that Azerbaijanis living in Sverdlovsk province make contributions to the development of the region.
Rector of the Ural Federal University Victor Koksharov stressed that Azerbaijan had made great progress in economic, healthcare, cultural, sports spheres.
The program states that Ilham Aliyev`s victory in 2003 presidential elections marked a new chapter in the history of Azerbaijan. The greatest accomplishment of Azerbaijan in the 20 anniversary of its independence is victory in the UN Security Council elections. Baku`s hosting Eurovision-2012 song contest will also attract the world community`s attention to the Land of Fire.
