On October 12th First lady of Austria Margit Fischer visited the Tazapir Mosque. 
The first lady was informed about the reconstruction work carried out in the Mosque.
The complex has an educational building of the Baku Islamic University.
Mrs. Fischer viewed a library of the Caucasian Muslims Board.
Then, the Austrian first lady met with head of the Caucasian Muslims` Board Sheikh ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade.
Touching upon friendly relations between Austria and Azerbaijan, Pashazade said the two countries have deeply-rooted historical ties.
He said Azerbaijan is a tolerant country, where a religious discrimination has never been.
Mrs. Fischer praised the value for development of Islamic religion in Azerbaijan.
She also stressed the great importance of interreligious dialogue and tolerance in the country.
During the meeting, they also discussed a number of other issues of mutual interest.
Allahshukur Pashazade and Mrs. Fischer exchanged keepsakes.
