Totally, 65 272 persons have been involved in vocational training and further education courses, career-oriented events organized by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan in January-July of current year.

   The vocational training and further education courses in accordance with the labor market requirements have been organized for 2 476 persons of them by the State Employment Service under the ministry. Certificates have been presented to those who have completed the vocational courses organized on occupations of car repairman, confectioner, accountant operator, electric welder, electrician, carpet-making, furniture fitter, computer users, tailor and etc. In the mentioned period, 155 young people have been admitted to the Vocational Rehabilitation Center for young people with disabilities No. 1 of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. At the center, the young people have been provided with hostel, food, medical and physiotherapy services and etc. along with acquiring new professions here.

   In January-July of current year, 62 641 young people have been involved in career-oriented events by the State Employment Service. Information on the demand for professions and qualifications in the labour market, employment services, active employment measures, career-oriented advice were given to them.
