"We congratulate Azerbaijan on conducting stable and democratic elections", said Director General of "Vesti Kavkaza" News Agency Aleksey Vlasov, who arrived in Azerbaijan to observe parliamentary elections.
Mr. Vlasov said the elections were held in a calm atmosphere and from early hours large number of voters came to polling stations to cast their ballots.
Vlasov said the elections were held in accordance with norms of the international organizations. Despite the strong competition among the candidates, the elections were held in a calm and friendly atmosphere.
