On February 20th Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Refugee and IDP Affairs Ali Hasanov met the U.S. ambassador Richard Morningstar.
Hasanov briefed the ambassador on the history and consequences of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The Deputy Premier highlighted the country`s economic achievements over the last years, as well as its international relations.
On the Karabakh conflict, Hasanov stressed the importance of strengthening efforts by the OSCE Minsk Group.
He also touched upon the US-Azerbaijani relations, hailing them as developing.
They also discussed improvement of living conditions of refugees and IDPs, and the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group.
