On February 15th Serbia`s Embassy in Baku hosted a reception on the country`s Statehood Day.
Speaking to the event, ambassador Zoran Vayovic praised Serbia`s political and economic achievements.
He hailed the relations between the two countries as friendly.
Azerbaijan`s Minister of Economic Development Shahin Mustafayev congratulated the Serbian people on behalf of President Ilham Aliyev.
On relations between Azerbaijan and Serbia, the Minister noted they based on strategic partnership and friendship.
The Minister also said that meetings held during reciprocal visits of Heads of both States and agreements signed would contribute to developing the bilateral relations, particularly trade and economic cooperation.
The event brought together Azerbaijan`s state and government officials, MPs, ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in the country, and public figures.
