On February 8th Azerbaijan and Serbia have today discussed prospects for developing the bilateral relations as chairman of the Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov met visiting Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.
The Serbian President viewed the Heydar Aliyev Memory Hall. He was informed about the role of the national leader in establishing the Azerbaijan-Serbia relations.

Ogtay Asadov spoke about the friendly relations between the two countries, and noted the significance of reciprocal visits.
He stressed that the signed agreements established a strong legal framework for development of relations in different fields. Asadov also expressed confidence that a newly founded economic committee would play an important role in economic cooperation.
Speaker Asadov also informed the Serbian President of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Tomislav Nikoliж stressed the role of the parliaments in developing the relations between the two countries.
