“The situation around Nagorno-Karabakh settlement requires continuous and close attention on the part of the OSCE. Ukraine will hand its support to the efforts Minsk group co-chairs aimed at re-energizing the negotiations over this conflict”, said OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukraine`s Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara in his speech at the session of the OSCE Permanent Council.
He said that the settlement of the conflicts in OSCE area will be main priorities during Ukraine`s chairmanship.
“We must continue OSCE capacity and effectiveness in all elements of the conflict cycle with the special emphasis on early warning and early action,” Kozhara said.
He said that Ukraine will actively work for the settlement the conflicts in Moldova and Georgia and he will pay his first visit to Moldova next week as OSCE Chairman-in-Office.
