US embassy held an event in the American Center on December 27, to report new regulations of American visa procedures. Consul General Eric Morin told in details about the changes to the visa procedures.
“The new regulation will simplify the procedures of short-term visa applicants”, he stressed.
“Now, everyone can fill the online visa application and appoint a day for the interview” said Mr. Morin. The fee payments have also been altered: visa applicants may choose from 3 types of money payments – bank payments (through the Bank Standard branches), phone transaction (through the debit cards) and bank transactions. Mr. Morin underlined simplified regime as timely decision considering the number of citizens who would like to visit US are increasing. According to the diplomat, comparing with last year US visitors have increased for 10%.
