On November 22nd Azerbaijan and Sudan explored ways of developing the bilateral political, economic and cultural relations as Premier Minister Artur Rasizade met a Sudanese delegation which is in Baku to attend the 7th General Assembly of International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP).
Rasizade praised Sudan 's support of Azerbaijan in international organizations.
He highlighted the consequences of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict: "As a result of Armenia 's aggression against Azerbaijan, 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands were occupied, while up to million citizens were subjected to ethnic cleansing policy."
The Premier said Azerbaijan wanted the dispute to be solved in compliance with international law.
The Sudanese delegation praised Azerbaijan's development.
They emphasized the importance of Baku`s hosting the ICAPP General Assembly.
