On October 21st Azerbaijan`s ambassador to Jordan Sabir Agabayov met the country`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Nasser Judeh.
They hailed the Azerbaijan-Jordan relations, stressing personal contacts between the two heads of state would contribute to developing the bilateral cooperation.
The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict was also discussed, and they said that Armenia`s illegal use of civil aviation infrastructure and Azerbaijan`s airspace, as well as Yerevan`s attempts to carry out illegal flights to Khojaly airport would negatively affect the regional situation.
The ambassador presented the Jordanian FM with an official appeal of the Azerbaijani government calling on the government of Jordan to prevent Armenia from illegal actions.
Judeh vowed Jordan would respond to the issue shortly.
The Azerbaijani ambassador also invited the Jordanian FM to pay a visit to Baku on behalf of Azeri FM Elmar Mammadyarov.
