Chairman of Azerbaijan Parliament Ogtay Asadov met Minister of Justice of the Netherlands Ernst Hirsch Ballin.
Mr. Asadov praised relations between the two countries` justice ministries. He expressed his confidence these ties would be developed in other spheres.
Milli Majlis speaker stressed a role of two countries` heads of states in boosting cooperation. He said reciprocal visits of the heads of governments and parliaments, ministers and MPs even more strengthen the ties.
Mr. Asadov touched on meetings held with Chairman of Netherlands Parliament René van der Linden adding the groups of friendship were functioning in the two countries` parliaments.
Mr. Ballin said he had fruitful meetings in Baku. He said a memorandum on cooperation signed between the two countries` justice ministries some years ago touched upon numerous spheres, including human rights and migration.
He said visit of the chairman of Netherlands Parliament to Baku in September will give an impulse to further cooperation.
