Spokesman for the Azerbaijan`s Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev said that holding of the so-called "elections" in the Azerbaijan`s occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region goes against the peaceful settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and strikes this process.
He noted that the step had further strengthened the current status-quo and confirmed once again the unwillingness of the Armenian side to the negotiations.
"Illegally visited persons to the Azerbaijan`s occupied lands without our permission will be included to the list of persona non grata. Azerbaijan's position on this issue is principled," he stressed.
The Armenian media briefed about holding the so-called "presidential elections" in Azerbaijan`s occupied Nagorno-Karabakh region.
