On June 27th Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasuzade met with newly appointed ambassador of Uzbekistan Sherzod Fayziyev.
Addressing the meeting, the sides expressed satisfaction on high level relations of the both countries.
They also noted that the relations of both countries' Presidents were positively influencing to the further development of the nations` cooperation.
Noting the Uzbek Government`s support for Azerbaijan in the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Prime Minister wished success to the ambassador in his diplomatic mission.
Artur Rasizade also expressed hope that the activity of the Uzbek ambassador would further strengthen the relations of both countries in implementing of joint projects not only in politics, but also in economic, social and cultural spheres.
The Uzbek ambassador, in his turn, noted that he would spare no efforts for further expansion of the cooperation.
