Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met today with Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.

OIC Secretary General Ihsanoglu underlined the significance of Azerbaijan-OIC relations and spoke about Azerbaijan's great and significant role in the OIC.

During the meetingç the sides shared their serious concern over Islamophobia that is increasing in the world ad underlined the necessity of taking joint measures for combating it.

Elmar Mammadyarov and Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu discussed other topics of mutual concern, press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
