On the 30th of May vice-speaker of Azerbaijan Milli Majlis Bahar Muradova met Ukrainian ambassador Alexander Mishenko. 
The ambassador congratulated Muradova on the public holiday of Azerbaijan - Republic Day and successful completion of Eurovision 2012.
Touching upon Azerbaijan-Ukraine relationship, the diplomat said it had reached the level of strategic partnership. He underlined the role of presidents and parliaments of the two countries in it.
Mishenko noted more than 500 thousand Azerbaijanis living in Ukraine enjoy full rights.
Bahar Muradova, in turn, said Azerbaijani and Ukrainian delegations support mutual interests within international organizations, including OSCE Parliamentary Assembly. "Our peoples and countries have always supported each-other and this policy will further continue."
During the meeting, the sides discussed Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan`s integration into Europe, cooperation within international organizations and other issues.
